Words at War: 9/16/1943 – Since You Went Away

Using a script that was later made into a classic motion picture, this is a touching, beautiful story about the women left behind as the men go off to war.

Very well-done!

Words at War – Since You Went Away

Morris Mamorsky (composer, conductor), Joseph Losey (director), Margaret Buhl Wilder (author), Nora Sterling (adaptor).

NBC network. A sustaining show.
