The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: 2/04/1946 – Murder Under the Big Top

The title of the story is not announced but the above seems most appropriate. However, according to one source, a program with that name was broadcast only November 6, 1943 and scripts were re-used in this series. The story has also been referred to as “The Indiscretion Of Mr. Edwards.” A Sherlock Holmes reference book (which IS rife with errors) titles the broadcast on this date “The Cross Of Damascus” – which seems wholly inappropriate!

Holmes and Watson go undercover at the Paris Circus when The Prince of Wales himself is accused of murder!
