However, according to one source, a program with that name was broadcast only November 6, 1943 and scripts were re-used in this series. The story has also been referred to as “The Indiscretion Of Mr. Edwards.” A Sherlock Holmes reference book (which IS rife with errors) titles the broadcast on this date “The Cross Of Damascus” – which seems wholly inappropriate!
